Do you remember Nick Van Exel’s signature shoe with Reebok? Yes, it was the Blast and it came out right around the same time of Shaquille’s Shaqnosis and Shawn Kemp’s Kamikaze. Like the other classic 90s Reebok Basketball designs, the Blast lay the groundwork for Reebok Basketball to play an intricate role in basketball sneaker game.
It’s now 2012 and Reebok Classics under Creative Director/DJ Swizz Beatz, he’s been bringing back these designs with an updated look. Here we have the Blast done in Black Leather with a grey/orange chenille patch on the heel. Similar to the Kamikaze, the shoe utilizes Hexalite cushioning and visible Hexalite is seen on the midsole.
Drop by Reebok Concept stores today to pick up the Blast. The Reebok Blast retails for 5,995 php.
