With Swizz Beatz sitting in as Reebok Classics’ Creative Director, it was only a matter of time that they sign the wifey, Alicia Keys, to her own collection. Obviously geared towards the ladies, Alicia Keys’ special collection revolves around a couple of familiar silhouettes, mostly pairs she wore growing up. The collection includes the Classic Nylon Slim, the Princess, The Freestyle Hi, and the Freestyle Hi Dubble Bubble, with a set in all black with gold studs and accents, and the other in a colorful vintage-treated suede. I stopped by Reebok and saw 5 of the 8 pairs in store. What surprised me with the collection is the price. All the pairs are very affordable considering the quality and make for the whole collection.
Check the images below the video for the rest of the collection available in store.
Classic Nylon Slim- the retro runner’s done in an all black mix of nylon, matte and patent leather with metal stud accents by the heel. Although the studs create the effect, the waxed laces did it for me. 2,895 php

Classic Nylon Slim and Princess- to differentiate this from the Classic Nylon Slim above, A.Keys and Reebok used ripstop nylon with muted suede overlays throughout the shoe. The citron and aubergine ripstop nylon blend in well with the suede and gum bottoms, 2,895 php. As for the Princess, the shoe uses the same color palette as the Classic Nylon Slim, but using more suede on the upper and faux leather accents to complete the look, 2,895 php.

Freestyle Hi- Everybody loves the Freestyle Hi. The all leather upper has a 3D gloss print inspired by African and Middle Eastern motifs chosen by Keys. The classic two straps are still there, with the aubergine/citron print being the accent on the tonal upper. The shoe retails for 3,995 php.

Freestyle Hi Dubbly Bubble- The last but certainly not the least is the Freestyle Hi Dubble Bubble. They do remind me a lot like the Air Mag, with it being a high top and the silo having the double strap. I’m sure the padding will definitely make the shoe hella comfortable, 3,995 php.
