You need to know a couple of things about our friends from the big cat. One, there’s a Puma store opening over at Greenbelt 5 this June (tentatively June 15). And their first special release at the installation are these oh-so-sweet Puma Clyde collab s with Kozyndan.

“Amsterdamned” by Kozyndan

LA-Based artists Kozyndan (Kozue and Dan Kitchens) teamed up with Puma to produce their own version of the classic. The Clyde will be released in two colorways, each featuring a wave repeat pa ttern pulled from part of a previously done panoramic project. The couple’s first piece was first completed in 2001. Since then, they’ve made a reputation based on intricate drawings of cityscapes, all of which feature whimsical characters and adopt a playful tone that reflects their tongue-in-cheek, self-deprecating attitude. The couple’s works are pretty interesting and their portfolio includes a Weezer album cover, as well as covers for John Mayer, Daedalus, Lyrics Born, and the Postal Service; exhibitions in L ondon, Los Angeles, Houston and Toronto; editorial illustrations for Colors, Tokion, Giant Robot, XLR8R, and many many more.

Do watch out for the Kozyndan drop. It’s definitely wo rth copping my friends.
