Puma finally made their presence felt in the local scene this 2014 with the release of the Trinomic XS 850 Plus last weekend. When Puma released the Trinomic 25 years ago, it was one of the most advanced cushioning systems in the market. With a hexagonal system placed strategically on the shoe’s sole, the Trinomic turned many to be Puma loyalists heading into the 90s. Originally a ’92 release, Sole Academy released an OG colorway for the Trinomic XS 850 Plus which includes neon hits and splatter print (pretty much like the Air Tech Challenge during the Agassi years). Limited pairs are still available and if you’re a retro running fan, this is one pair you’d want in your rotation. The Puma Trinomic XS 850 Plus retails for Php 5,430.
