Out Now: PUMA Clyde Hardwood

Leaping Cat closing the gap.

After waiting for over a year for the Clyde Court to drop in the region (understandably as PUMA decided to launch the basketball line in the US and Europe first), PUMA closes the gap as they release the latrest PUMA Hoops basketball sneaker – the Clyde Hardwood.

Inspired by the originals PUMA Clyde sneaker Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier wore back in the 70s, the Clyde Hardwood does have that OG look while doubling up as a lifestyle sneaker with its construction (we first saw the Hardwood on J.Cole during the offseason as he was ballin’ with some NBA players). The Clyde Hardwood features vintage materials while incorporating engineered lacing systems, a ProFoam midsole and a specially tuned traction pattern.

The Clyde Hardwood joins one of the brand’s most recognizable shoe franchises – The Clyde – on the heels of the release of the Clyde Court basketball shoe last year. Clyde himself was the first NBA player to truly represent on-court and off-court swagger and the Hardwood represents that mindset.

While it did debut during the launch of the NBA season last October, we’re finally getting our share this December. Coming in three different colorways, the PUMA Clyde Hardwood retails for Php 6,630 and is now available via the Titan App and Titan22.com. Stay tuned for more detail as to where the Clyde Hardwood will be available.
