Puma, along with Crate and Titan released the PUMA x UNDFTD collaboration at the Secret Fresh Gallery over at the RONAC Art Center. It’s been a while since Puma’s been extra active in the sneaker game, especially catering to the sneaker head. The collaboration, is the 3rd for this year between the two brands. This version uses Ripstop Nylon, a material that has yet to be used on the iconic Clyde. I was there around 3pm and stocks were going real quick. People were gravitating towards the Burnt Olive colorway. If you weren’t able to drop by RONAC yesterday, stocks are now available at Crate and Titan FORT (Burnt Olive at Crate, Insignia Blue at Titan; White and Black colorways are available at both stores).
Aside from the release, PUMA had a mini exhibit on the Clyde, showcasing various editions of Walt’s signature shoe. From huge Suedes to Yo! MTV Raps pairs, Manila heads were given a taste of PUMA’s rich sneaker heritage. There were a couple of pairs that were on display, that will be available at both sneaker shops. Crate will be carrying some special edition Baskets, while Titan will be carrying the Shadow Society States (October, if I’m not mistaken). I’m quite happy that these stores are taking notice, making people realize that there’s more to Nike and adidas in the sneaker game. Kudos to PUMA, Crate and Titan for the special release.
