Once again, British brand Pointer and Japanese fashion house Comme des Garcons Shirt present a collaborative project for Autumn Winter 2012. This time the unconventional fashion brand has chosen two iconic and one contemporary Pointer Silhouettes to be made up in specific fabrics and materials to sit within their line.

The ‚AFD‘ (above), previously utilized by Comme des Garcons last winter makes a welcome return to the collaborative trio, with the theme of washing and over-dying being replaced by a strong, pure black canvas that underlines the simplistic appeal of this wearable and basic style.

Archetypal Pointer style the ‚Soma II‘(above) has been worked with for the first time for AW12, and is updated by adding our retro three tone vulcanized style to the foxing. The all black theme continues, injecting a sartorial elegance to this high cut style inspired by classic 1970s basketball sneakers. Concluding the trilogy is the ‚Malcolm‘(below), a casual mid with aspirations of a smarter shoe, uncomplicated lines and an effortlessly classic black colourway combine to create a suede upper and whiter rubber cupsole that is accompanied by a contrasting black leaflike tread.

All shoes will be distributed exclusively through Comme des Garcons channels and are all available this September 2012. Check the entire collection below.
