a couple more finds over the weekend

I saw a lot of interesting pairs over the weekend. The long weekend was worth it. It was time for me to go around and check out stores all over- from BHS, Rockwell and other places. Here’re some interesting picks:
Reebok Answer XII
AI’s joints. It’s just sad that the Answer’s not the answer for Detroit. Expect Motown not to re-sign the pint-sized powerhouse. His sneaks aren’t as great as they were. I still love the Questions. Even this All-Star make up of the shoe won’t cut it for me.
adidas Orginals: Country
My do these look crusty. It’s like they’re going to give way any time. But these are hot! The vintage look and feel represents the kicks of yesteryear. 6009′s the collection to check out for adidas.
adidas Beckenbauer AllRound
They remind me of Sambas, one of adi’s iconic pairs. I inspected the pair on the wall and they’re fine. Clean, simple and not at all high tech. Heck, I’d choose these over the Answers.
adidas Originals by Originals: KZK
I did mention a few posts ago that I dropped by Theodore’s over at Bonifacio High Street. the ObyO collection is still on display and will continue to have more drops throughout the year. Here’s a pretty simple shoe by Japanese designer Kasuki Kuraishi, or KZK for short. I like the other pairs in his collection but these are cool too.
shoe salon rockwell: presto and rejuven8s
Nike’s really bringing sexy back for the 09. The Presto (circa 98-99) has resurfaced, with this white/black colorway. I was never a fan of the Rejuven8s but I’ve heard nothing but positive things about them. If I were to buy them, I’d go for the 10AC quickstrikes. Those are sweet. Try to look for them online.
adidas TS Creator and Commander: Art of War
I know the whole TS series came out in November but there are still a couple of drops worth pointing out, such as these TS Creators and Commanders: Art of War series. The design’s pretty sweet for both TS models. Sun Tzu’s got nothing on these kicks! The TS Creators are only available in Asia… so you know what to do. They’ve been doing the Art of War series for adidas Basketball for quite some time now. This is this year’s rendition.
