Would You Cop These? I Would.

am1Everybody knows my love affair for runners. To be more specific, retro runners. From AM1s, 90s, 95s, ZXs, 574s, you name it, that’s what I rock. You all can fight for the Dunks or the AF1s or even limited edition Kobes like the Aston Martin Pack. I’m happy with runners. Here’s a couple I’d love to get my hands on. The Air Max 1, a shoe that was initially released way back in 87, now comes in two slick colorways. The shoe comes in the Total Orange cw (above) and the Neptune Blue (below) variant.

Tha Neptune Blue, though not largely placed on the shoe, gives the AM1 a certain pop to make it stand out. I personally like it as the contrast between the blacks, whites, and the dark grey blends well with the Neptune Blue.

am1dThe other colorway available is the Total Orange AM1s. Like the Neptune Blue AM1s, the orange part of the shoe does not overpower the shoe’s colorway. With the shades of gray paired with the white, it is quite reminiscent of the combination done by the great Tinker Hatfield, who also designed the AM1. The only knock I have with these pairs would be the mesh paneling on the side and on the toe box. You’ll have to be extra careful so as not to scuff these up or else you’re doomed. But in the event that you do, you can always cop a bottle/kit of Jason Markk Premium Sneaker Solution to solve your sickly kicks’ problems.

These AM1s are now available at major Nike stores such as Trinoma and High Street. I do would like to note that these AMs are not part of the Air Attack Pack. am1b
