Von Wong and Nike PH decided to walk on Air in their latest project
A few months ago, the Nike Air VaporMax made its debut in the Philippines, making this innovation known for one of the purest air cushioning available through retail. As the shoe gives the athlete a bouncy feel while durable and light, the maximum cushioning and breakthrough outsole puts the athlete directly on air. If you haven’t tried on a pair, I suggest you do. It’s definitely a different experience and I can’t really pin it down to anything else that I’ve tried before.
Nike challenged international photographer extraordinaire Benjamin Von Wong during that same season to take Filipino heroes, the Nike VaporMax, and all it inspires, together in a photoshoot personifying sports and movement in his eyes. As sports does not always mean competition, he takes movement through sports further by capturing passion, strength and grit in his output, framing a vibe of pushing through perceived limitations to the next level for himself and the athletes.
