Today: Nike Air VaporMax Plus ‘Black/Volt’

Posted on Mar 6, 2019 in Nike

We’re three years in to the VaporMax project and a lot of folks are still on the fence with the new age Air unit. For those who actually used the shoe for running, it’s been a love/hate relationship. Some like the direct feel of the Air bags, while some are wary of the shoe’s height while wearing them. That’s why Nike has quietly shifted the shoe and focused on using the tech on Nike Sportswear. We’ve seen both new and hybrid silhouettes come out and the Air VaporMax Plus has been one of the better variations made with the VaporMax unit.

Today, Nike releases a very sleek black/volt colorway that fits right in to the futuristic sneaker. The black wraps the upper and the cage while the volt pop is found on the shoe’s Air units. As a nod to the Air Max Plus (aka Tuned Air), the Air VaporMax Plus uses the same Tn Air badge by the heel but now flaunting the Vm Air to represent the VaporMax.

The Nike Air VaporMax Plus drops today at Capital, Commonwealth and Sole Academy with the shoe retailing for Php 9,445.
