The UNDERCOVER x Nike Daybreak drops this weekend
While we are living in the age of collaborations, you have to do so much more to really stand out from the crowd. Last month’s Sacai release did just that, with its fusion of retro icons as well as the ‘double everything’ design ethos. This weekend, we’re getting another can’t-miss release, this time by way of Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER label.
Nike recently released their first-ever mainline collection with the Japanese label earlier this week, and that collection includes a tweaking of an 80s silhouette – the Daybreak. Staying true to his futuristic aesthetic, the shoe features a spike-toothed heel clip encapsulating the raw suede heel. UNDERCOVER’s U logo is seen on the heel tab along with the UNDERCOVER logo stamped on the shoe’s speckled midsole. Lastly, Nike’s classic waffle sole completes the shoe’s design.
The UNDERCOVER x Nike Daybreak is set to drop this Saturday, June 15th, at Commonwealth via an In-Store Raffle List on CopDate. Registration begins today, June 13 and will run through the 14th made available to users located within all the Commonwealth stores. The shoe retails for Php 8,095 and pick up will be at the Greenbelt 5 shop only. For more information, click here for full release mechanics.
