The Nike VaporMax goes high with their latest silhouette

Posted on Aug 24, 2018 in Nike

Ever since Nike released the Air VaporMax, we’re seeing the technology infused into the rest of the brand’s catalog. Nike Sportswear has taken the VaporMax tech into a different direction by creating wearable high tops for daily use. We’ve seen the Marc Newson collab as well as the VaporMax Flyknit Utility before, but they are releasing a new silhouette this weekend. Presenting the VaporMax Premier Flyknit – a Flyknit-based upper that goes all the way up to the ankle. To add further details to the shoe, Nike added a leather criss-cross strap with a magnetic closure. Nike Sportswear drew inspiration from Gary Payton’s sig from ’99, the Air Zoom GP, with the strap’s design. To aid in the shoe’s comfort, the Air Zoom GP’s mudguard was added on the medial side. There are no laces here but rest assured the strap will definitely keep you fastened and secure. Lastly, NSW added a layer of cushioning between the upper and the VaporMax soles.

The Nike VaporMax Premier Flyknit is now available at Sole Academy and retails for Php 10,645.
