The Nike PG 2.5 debuts this weekend
Now that it’s confirmed that PG’s staying put, Nike gives us a taste of what’s to come this summer. Nike Basketball brings the best of both sigs in the form of the PG 2.5. Mixing in elements from both his first and second signature sneakers, the 2.5 looks to be another banger. Most of the PG2 can be seen but the midfoot strap is definitely a nod to his first sneaker.
PG actually wore the shoe several times, the PG 2.5 is built for the summer. “We wanted to refresh the silhouette and keep evolving it,” shares designer Tony Hardman. “Paul wanted to put the strap from the PG1 on it, and this allowed us us to approach the element in a different way. Instead of incorporating Flywire as we did on the original, we conceived a new strap for the PG 2.5 built from a new webbing.”
The first colorway is dressed in black with a pure platinum speckled midsole and inverse Swoosh. PG’s logos are found throughout the shoe, with the milky outsole completes the look of this awesome sneaker. The Nike PG 2.5 is now available at Titan and Nike Forum, with the shoe retailing for Php 5,795.
