The Nike Air Force 1 x Cactus Jack drops this Saturday

Posted on Nov 13, 2019 in Nike

Camouflage, corduroy, duck canvas, flannel, leather, suede and wool are all sturdy materials associated with hard-wearing, tough products. For his latest collaboration with Nike Sportswear, La Flame brought out the good stuff. After several leaks and news releases, the Nike Air Force 1 x Cactus Jack is dropping this weekend.

The latest AF-1 is an ode to Scott’s Texas roots that just screams contemporary streetwear. At first, the multi-fabric AF-1 also features burlap accents, a reference to farm products and a metonym for resilience and hard work. Scott personality and hustle is seen throughout the shoe, as you’ll also see Cactus Jack logos from tour merchandise meld with the textiles.

Travis Scott’s youth were spent in Missouri City, Texas, and you’ll see that on the snaps found on the shoe’s heel. The snaps are just one of the few details that channel those of traditional work coats, just like the corduroy collar, brass zippers and the removable lace cover. The Nike Air Force 1 x Cactus Jack drops this Saturday, November 16, at Commonwealth and Titan. The shoe retails for Php 8,095.

Commonwealth is running an in-store raffle beginning tomorrow, November 14 and will run through the 15th. Quantities are limit so make sure to send in your ballot across any of their three locations. For more information on their release mechanics, log on to www.commonwealth-ftgg.ph. Titan has yet to release their info, but expect a raffle for these as well.
