Store Drop: HideOut

If you thought the Puma post was long overdue. This was one’s even longer (well, technically checked both places out the same day, but…). Well, HideOut’s been really aggressive with their quickstrikes and releases over the past few months. These came out 2 weeks ago, but only had the chance to check them out now. As Nike has gone Safari on our asses, HideOut has the 2 interesting safari drops for the AM1s. The “Carrot” obviously is a hybrid of the AM1 OG and the Air Safari, giving you a weird but not as bad mix of the 2 into an AM1 silhouette. The other Safari print is pretty safe if you ask me.
For Dunk lovers, they’ve got two. One is a candy colored Dunk Hi and the other is part of their Splatter pack, otherwise known on the net as their Tennis Pack. This pair is inspired from Andre Agassi’s Air Tech Challenge that saw it’s own re-release in 08. The Tennis Pack also has an AF1 that is now available in store.
And for the ladies. This is what you call the Nike Gladiateur Mids. With the whole gladiator sandal craze all over the place (but isn’t it a bit too late in the game to release them? I don’t know…), Nike just to be in the mix. They’re nicely done and a great alternative to your usual sandal…or your usual sneaker. There’s also a black colorway available at the store.
Isn’t this a busy summer for Nike? With all these drops and events (White Men Can’t Jump, Yeezy’s, DMPs, Kobe, etc.), will they ever stop? To put it plain and simple, this is just the Swoosh’s way of letting everyone know who’s on top of their game. Adidas, Puma (you were frontrunners, but with Nike’s constant droppage, step your game up), everyone- get your game on and let this sneaker game rock on!

i wonder if they still have the AM1 OGs
They still have OGs but you have to call or drop by to check on the sizes.
