Store Check: Nike Glorietta 4

I was at Glorietta last Friday for the C/S 9′s GI Joe premiere and decided to take a stroll to the Nike 2 floors below. Way back when BHS still was just a clear lot, G4 was the destination for exclusive drops. The Zoom Generations dropped here, as well as a couple of Kobe exclusives. The store had renovated a couple of times and as they renovated, a couple of interesting pieces caught my eye.

The Max 90 Premium here is a bit of a mystery for now. I’m not quite sure if this is also part of the whole Tennis Pack with the patent leather and the color fade on the upper. I know it’s not but you know Nike, when they pay tribute to an iconic pair, they go all out.

Over at the Jordan Brand section, the Sixty + in black is already out. The resembles a mix of all the pairs MJ scored 60 or so points during his storied NBA career. His enshrinement is less than a month away and this is definitely a fitting tribute for the great one. Also available at the store is the Jordan 1 Brown Pack. There’s supposed to 3 or 4 pairs including the 1 with the ankle strap. Shown here is the brown/brown and white/brown colorways.

For Dunk lovers, a couple of pairs are out. Here’re two. One is actually part of a patent leather pack. This is for the Fall collection of Nike. I’ve seen a couple with a Carolina blue and green midsole. Clean, but again, not for our temperamental weather.

The other Dunk here is still part of the Summer collection. I’ve seen it a couple of times before but never acknowledged them. until now.
