Fast is the focus.

Over the weekend, we featured the Nike ZoomX VaporFly NEXT% in Pink Blast. The shoe is actually part of a bigger Running story for Nike this season. As we are all training (or racing), Nike designed shoes to meet the needs of every type of runner. Whether they use full-length Zoom Air, or the aforementioned ZoomX foam, the different pairs in the Zoom family offer varying degrees of unique underfoot experience.

As we banner in the marathon season, you’ll see the Pink Blast (aka neon pink) hues run throughout the line. Find out which running shoe is best for you:

Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36

Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 – Php 6,295

While the Air Zoom Pegasus 36 debuted earlier this year, the shoe now comes with a couple of updates. The shoe now utilizes Engineered Mesh with additional perforations to enhance breathabilty where high-heat areas occur (forefoot and arch). Exposed Flywire cables in the midfoot keep you locked down as you go faster, while the heel collar and tongue are visually slimmer. The Air Zoom Pegasus 36 also uses full-length Zoom Air encased in Cushlon foam for a smooth, responsive and cushioned ride for everyday use.

Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo 2

Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo 2 – Php 8,995

We were pretty pleased with last year’s iteration of the Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo. This year’s edition comes with a lighter upper, due mostly to the translucent material and lofted mesh. A midfoot bank locks the foot on the footbed better.

a closer look at the carbon-fiber plate used on the Nike Zoom Fly 3

If you’ve tried the Nike Zoom Fly before, you’ll love the Zoom Fly 3. The women’s edition houses a slightly softer sockliner with the higher arch. The transparent upper also comes with a new arch-band lacing system the offers a better fit. The shoe utilizes the brand’s Nike React midsole for better cushioning, coupled with the full-length carbon-fiber plate to deliver a propulsive sensation. The shoe’s offset is designedto minimilize Achilles strain while the added height helps with impact protection. Not only is the Zoom Fly 3 one of the fastest runners out there, it’s the most efficient one.
