Release Reminder: Nike Zoom Freak 1 ‘Black/White’
After unveiling the shoe Friday and releasing the shoe Saturday, Nike’s in a rush to have the Zoom Freak 1 on everyone’s feet as we welcome July. Just last Saturday, Nike released the ‘All Bros’ colorway of Giannis’ first signature shoe, and we’re now getting the second colorway 2 days after. While some people feel the launch colorway was too loud for their taste, this Black/White rendition should fit right in to most of the ballers around.
The Nike Zoom Freak 1 comes in a basic black one piece upper, complemented by a white midsole with translucent clips on each side. The GA logo now comes in a green/white hue, as we expect to see the shoe on Giannis’ feet regularly when playing with the Milwaukee Bucks. If you haven’t tried the shoe on, you’d be pretty surprised with the double-stacked Zoom heel coupled with the snug upper once you lock in.
In terms of sizing, I would recommend for you to go half a size up, especially when you plan to wear thicker elite socks with the shoe (I tried going a full size up but the length was a bit bothersome). I do expect these to conform to your foot after a couple of runs so going half up should do the trick.
The Nike Zoom Freak 1 ‘Black/White’ drops tomorrow, July 1st, at Titan and select Nike Park and Forum stores. The shoe retails for Php 6,295.
*The Giannis Antetokounmpo apparel line is available at Nike Fort as of writing.
