Release Reminder: Nike x Sacai LDWaffle

After releasing the back in May, we’re finally getting the 2nd release of the much sought-after Nike x sacai LDWaffle. The sneaker made its debut during the 2018 FW PFW and was originally slated for a July release got pushed back to this September. We just got news that Commonwealth (PH) is set to release the pairs this coming weekend.

sacai’s Chitose Abe fused two iconic silhouettes (the LDV and Waffle Racer) to create this hybrid, double-themed sneaker. What fans love about the collab is the use of double tongues, shoelaces, and Swooshes. Lastly, the shoe also features a co-branded Nike x sacai logo on the heel tab. While the initial release used colors of the OG LDVs and Waffle Racers, this release features season-friendly colors of Black, Summit White and Pine Green.

The sacai x Nike LDWaffle Drop 2 is set to release on Saturday, September 14, exclusively at Commonwealth. All three colorways will be made available via CopDate in very limited quantities. It’s best to check out the full release mechanics via Commonwealth in the coming days. The shoe retails for Php 8,095.
