Release Reminder: Nike Air Max 720 OBJ ‘Young King of the People’

Posted on Sep 25, 2019 in Nike

Earlier today, our friends at Commonwealth confirmed what we have been waiting for in a while. After releasing the ‘Young King of the Drip’ OBJ 720s last June, Nike and Commonwealth’s set to release the Desert Ore aka ‘Young King of the People’ Air Max 720 OBJ this week.

As he brings his game from New York to Cleveland this NFL season, Odell Beckham Jr.’s been one of the bigger heads in the game, now coming with another solid release of the Air Max 720 OBJ. The Desert Ore (read: Tan) and Light Bone color blocking is inspired by the sand dunes of his home state of Louisiana to Egypt. The mesh/suede overlays are definitely a call back to ’90s turf style sneakers, while the cork insoles feature OBJ’s hieroglyphic-style alphabet. The stylish upper sits on the 38mm high Air Max unit. To finish things off, the shoe comes with a velcro tongue, which you can attach OBJ’s #13 or his OBJ logo.

While we’re waiting for Commonwealth to share their release info, the Nike Air Max 720 OBJ ‘Young King of the People’ retails for Php 9,895.
