Release Reminder: Air Max Triax 96 OG

When you’ve got a rich sneaker archive, you can’t be beating your consumers with the same old silhouettes. That’s why we’re pretty pleased to see Nike dig up some gems from their library to re-release the Air Max Triax 96 for the first time 1996.

That’s right, Nike brings out the Air Max Triax 96 for the first time since the 1996 Summer Olympics, back with its original shape, colorways, and visible Air unit. Coming back in two OG colorways (Varsity Royal and University Red), each pair features lightweight mesh uppers to go with its blue and red accents with its overlays and branding. What made the Air Max Triax 96 stand out was its proportionate Air unit – an aberration when oversized Air units and full-length units were all the rage. But with it being one of the lightest silhouettes back then, the Air Max Triax 96 was a fan favorite, and proved to be a blueprint for future AM silhouettes.

The Air Max Triax 96 OG drops this Thursday, December 5th, via Nike.com and will retail for Php 6,745.
