Prized Pick-Up: NIKE AIR MAG

Last Sunday was definitely a treat for me. The Nike Air Mag owned by a good friend, who chooses to be anonymous (which is the wiser choice, especially for a piece this special). The Air Mag is his prized pick-up, which definitely came with a hefty price tag (proceeds did go to a good cause). I was elated and anxious to see them in the flesh. To touch them, to turn the lights on, to appreciate the shoe’s significance and place in sneaker history was a treat in itself. When they were up for auction on eBay, the owner gave me a real-time update right up to the point wherein he was able to solidify the win via during the 10-day auction period. This is definitely a good pick up indeed.
1,500 pairs worldwide, and we’re counting roughly 8 known pairs in the Philippines. There should be more. After all, the Nike Air Mag completes any sneakerhead’s collection. I’d like to thank Titan Katipunan for letting us use their space.

Great piece boss Martin. I agree that the shoe is polarizing in terms of looks. Its either you really like it or it turns you off. But youre not merely buying a shoe here but a piece of pop culture. Guess its time to pop in Back To The Future 2 again…
