Prized Pick-Up: JEROME CRUZ

As the site embarks on its fourth year, we would still encourage everyone to share their holy grail, come up or what we call your prized pick-up. Here’s one from Jerome Cruz. Instead of picking up the Concords, Black Cements, LBJ Cannon, or the Christmas Kobes, he had his eyes set on the Product (RED) x  Nike ACG Zoom Meriwether. Jerome had a pretty lengthy story on how he picked these up. To cut the long story short, Nike Harajuku (Japan) was the only store in ASIA to carry these hybrid boots from the ACG. Her aunt was willing to pick the shoe up (¥20k) AND paid half of it as her gift to him for the holidays.

This quickstrike is part of Nike’s continued partnership with Product (RED), which basically engages the private sector to support and create AIDS awareness. With portion of the profit headed to the foundation, Jerome is ecstatic with this lovely number to start the New Year.
