Out Now: Nike AlphaDunk ‘Hoverboard’

“Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads!”

Yeah, that was really for the Doc’s DeLorean. But for a great majority of the kids who grew up in the 80s and 90s, Time Machines and Hoverboards were all we hoped ‘the future’ to be. While it has been 30 years since Back to the Future II debuted on the silver screen, its (sneaker) legacy lives on. With the Nike Mag and Bruin releasing over the last few year, and the Mag-inspired Adapt BB a few months ago, Nike Basketball takes inspiration from the Hoverboard for their gravity-defying AlphaDunk release this week.

The all-new AlphaDunk now comes in the same colors of the hoverboard Marty McFly used as he tried to escape Griff and his goons. The hoverboard’s loud graphics can also be seen on the shoe’s inner heel to complement the pink and lime green accents throughout.

The Nike AlphaDunk ‘Hoverboard’ is now available at Titan (Vertis, Conrad, UPTC, Shangri-la, and Alabang) for Php 8,995.
