Out Now: Cody Hudson x Nike Zoom Pegasus 36

As I was going through my rounds at the local mall, I was surprised to see this bright yellow rendition of the Air Zoom Pegasus 36. With some added details and a full collection to boot, this Air Pegasus 36 is actually part of Nike’s A.I.R. (artist in residence) program which previously featured both Eva Magill-Oliver and Nathan Bell. This July, we get to see Chicago-based artist Cody Hudson at the center of the program.

For this collection, Hudson wanted it to feel naturally artistic yet polished and purposeful. With bold colors, simple graphics and clean text, the new collection works for the modern-day runner.

“The loose circle pattern to me is about constant motion and movement, but in a less than perfect way,” he says. “The bold and graphic shapes are meant to be abstract and open-ended enough where the viewer can start to bring their own meaning to them.”
    
The Cody Hudson Artist Apparel Collection is now available at select Nike Park locations around the metro. The Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Cody Hudson retails for Php 6,745.
