Release Reminder: Nike MP Holiday 2011 Tees

November 12 (November 13 Manila time) has been circled months ago for most fight fans as Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao (sorry, I can never call him Congressman) goes for 15 straight as he faces the only man that really put Manny to the test, Juan Manuel Marquez. As it has been a tradition of sorts since the Hatton fight back in May 2009, Nike will be releasing their MP Holiday 2011 Tees for this upcoming fight. Going on sale tomorrow, October 28, there are five (5) tees that will be available at all Nike stores and retailers. I was fortunate enough to see the set of tees at Sole Academy (doors open at 11am, so grab yours quick!)  earlier todayand I must say I like these better than the last collection.

First up is the Nike Values Manny Pacquiao Tee (above). The shirt has MP’s face but uses various values attributed to our prized fighter. As depicted, these represent to the heart and mind of Manny. At the back of the is the MP logo with three stars and the words “Equality Valor Truth” printed on as well. The next set of Tees are a trio of “Manny Knows” Tees. After the PacMan Knows and Manny Knows Titles, the three tees for this season states that Manny Knows Precision (white), Manny Knows Power (red), and Manny Knows Speed (blue). All three shirts have the 8 stars by the shoulder, representing the eight titles Manny held over his illustrious career.  The last tee of the bunch (and my favorite for this season) is the Nike Destroyer Manny Pacquiao Tee (below). The white tee has a portrait of MP in the ring with, a scene we’ve all been accustomed to over the past 14 or so fights. Greatest Ever? Most Definitely.

All five tees retail for 995 php each and will be available at Nike stores and retailers such as Sole Academy. For the latest shoe in the MP line, stay tuned.
