Nike releases the Air Max 90 ‘Viotech 2.0’

Posted on Aug 23, 2019 in Nike

Back in the early 2000s, the Nike Dunk had a renaissance, with new colorways, the SB backing and just the overall feel for the sneaker game. In Japan, they released the exclusive ‘Viotech’ Dunk Low, and became one of the most coveted colorways to this due to its bright and bold color blocking done in premium suede. Today, Nike takes inspiration from the original, bringing out that ‘Viotech vibe with the Air Max 90.

Now dubbed the Air Max 90 ‘Viotech 2.0’, the shoe features the multicolored suede paneling, but now done with Lucid Green, Game Royal, Magenta, Coral, and Yellow. The black leather tongue label works well with the plastic heel tabs, and grey mesh tongue. The White Swoosh logo works well with the overall design of the sneaker. While it doesn’t reflect the original Viotech from the early 2000s, this definitely brings in a new wave that definitely hits home to the new school.

The Nike Air Max 90 ‘Viotech 2.0’ drops tomorrow, August 24, exclusively via Commonwealth’s webstore with the shoe retailing for Php 7,195.
