Nike debuts the LeBron Soldier XIII SFG this week

Posted on Jul 5, 2019 in Nike

LeBron James has been Nike’s main man since he signed with the brand some 16+ years ago. The LEBRON line has since grown to several categories, giving every type of customer a shoe and apparel line to ball in. From the signature shoe (now on its 16th iteration) to other pairs such as the Witness, Ambassador and the Soldier, which usually debuts during the Postseason. Things is, LeBron didn’t make it to the Postseason. But like with all other things with Nike, everything falls into place.

This July, Nike Basketball officially debuts the 13th edition of the LEBRON Soldier. While the Soldier’s legacy has always been about the Postseason, the shoe actually lives on to the Summer months, making it a solid go-to sneaker at a very good price point. As the shoe’s mantra goes, it’s all about SFG (Strive for Greatness). The Soldier XIII SFG makes a great companion for everyone looking to fiine tune their skills as they gear up for the upcoming basketball season. The Soldier XIII SFG uses Zoom Air units for responsiveness while the inclusion of the flexible inner sleeve and collar makes it easier to wear, even with just one hand. The most noticeable design element of the Soldier line has always been the laceless design and straps. Two durable straps with an adjustable slip-lock keeps you locked down while giving you the means to adjust and fine tune it to your liking.

The first colorway comes in a Thunder Grey upper with Bright Crimson and Electric Green accents found throughout the shoe. A tinge of Lakers purple also makes it to the shoe’s midsole and side strip. LeBron’s LJ logo is found on the throat while the outsole has LJ 23 debossed on to the shoe’s herringbone traction pattern.

The Nike LEBRON Soldier XIII SFG ‘Thunder Grey’ is now available at select Nike stores and stockists such as Titan, Nike Park, Nike Forum, and the Athlete’s Foot. The shoe retails for Php 7,195.

*Do check with your preferred stockists for availability as Nike’s been experiencing delivery delays across their partner doors.
