Nike brings some color to the Air Max2 Light this June

Posted on Jun 4, 2019 in Nike

While Air Max hybrids such as the 97/1 (aka Sean Wotherspoon) and the Air Max 90/1 proved to be hits for 2018, Nike decided to bring out a retro Air Max silhouette that can stand on its own. To kick its 25th anniversary celebration, Nike Sportswear decided to bring back the Air Max2 Light. A successor to the Air Max Light (1989), the Air Max2 Light was a beloved sneaker for its heavily detailed upper and its multi-chambered Air unit. Aside from releasing OG colorways during the first quarter of 2019, Nike also released their collaboration with Japanese-retailer Atmos last April.

This June, Nike brings out two new colorways for the retro runner. Both the Habanero Navy and the Royal Cream are perfect for the season. Their multi-colored uppers are contrasted by the crisp white midsole.

The Nike Air Max2 Light SP drops tomorrow, June 5th, at Sole Academy (soleacademy.net and BGC) and retails for Php 8,095.
