Nike’s made a living out of the waffle iron. When Bill Bowerman first used the waffle iron to create his first waffle outsole, he knew he was on to something. Since then, the waffle line has been in the Nike line with various silhouettes. The Nike Air Waffle Trainer, first came out in the 80s and to this day has been a part of Nike’s running legacy. Coming in this Steel Green/Black combo, this leather version of the classic is sure to make a comeback. I don’t ususally go for retro runners outside the Air Max, but these Air Waffle Trainers are pretty solid.
