Yesterday, we featured Edward Cruz’ prized pick-up of the Nike Air Safari OG Quickstrikes he picked up in SG. Contrary to the news passed on to me, the Air Safari found at Nike Park aren’t the OGs, but limited edition releases, commemorating the shoe’s 25th year of existence. If you’ve surfed the internet long enough, you’ve seen the whole Air Safari Remix- OGs, Lunar soles, Fuse uppers, and new materials used (like the ones you see here). These two Air Safari LEs used mesh on the toe box and lining (as opposed to premium grade leather on the OG). The royal blue and yellow/beige are new colors to go on the Tinker classic. The outsole also uses a weird paint technique to match the colors on the upper.
The best part about this limited edition set? The price. The shoe retails for 3,995 php each and is now available at Nike Parks around the metro. Get your Nike Air Safar LE before it’s too late.
