If you’ve been to a Nike store at the mall, most likely you’ve seen these — the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 34. The Air Pegasus series has spanned over 34 years (thus the number attached to it), providing runners with a secure, lightweight sneaker with premium cushion ST foam, now coupled with Zoom Air unit, balancing cushioning with support. An updated Flymesh upper is made of lightweight translucent monofilament yarn that contains the foot but allows for ventilation. The radiused heel tapers on the lateral side to promote a natural strike.

Last May, Nike and three runners worked on breaking the Sub2 barrier of the marathon. Nike came real close using the Zoom Vaporfly Elite. Although the shoe was made specific for the three athletes, Nike decided to use the same colorway and ethos across their other silhouettes. . The pacers who supported the 3 athletes wore the Air Pegasus. The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 34 is now available at Nike stores at Php 5,795.
