MORE MANNY

Every time out, I catch myself saying, “pass” or “I’m not feeling it”. But every time as well I end up buying the MP gear Nike brings out. Manny fever. We all have it. Can’t escape it. And on May 7th (8th Manila time), MP steps into the ring yet again to defend his title, and we, as one nation, cheer him on.

In keeping with Manny’s Filipino heritage, the tees showcase inspirational elements with bold and classy graphics representing the “Fighting Pride of the Philippines” and his championship pedigree. Graphic elements reflecting Manny’s personal life such as his beloved Jack Russell terrier dog, gym, love for darts, national pride and home city are incorporated into the t-shirt designs for fans to enjoy. The footwear is built for Manny’s speed, agility and power while representing the pinnacle of Nike’s training innovation with designs and materials fit for the intense training regimen of multisport athletes.

“As Pacquiao’s long time partner, we at Nike recognize his dedication and discipline for each fight,” said Nike Philippines Country Marketing Manager Mae Dichupa. “Pacquiao’s passion and commitment comes from his strong faith, family ties and love for the Philippines, so we decided to celebrate all that in our latest Nike-Pacquiao collection.”

The tees retail for PHP995 and the hoody retails for PHP3,795

We’ve all seen the Trainer 1.3 Max earlier today and you can cop them via lottery tomorrow (April 27) at the Nike Park the Fort. In case you missed it, you can get the info here. Aside from the extremely limited shoe, Nike is also releasing the Nike Zoom Huarache TR. If you’re looking for a shoe for training, this is it. People who’ve used the Huarache before swear by it, myself included. When I heard that Nike was using a Huarache silhouette for Manny’s latest shoe, I knew they were up to something.

The Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer Low retails for PHP5,495, and all products are available in Nike stories nationwide (except ofcourse the Trainer 1.3 Max as it exclusive to Nike Park the Fort).
