MOON LANDING: The Nike Moon Racer drops today

A couple of months ago, Nike introduced a new silhouette for 2018, the Nike Moon Racer. With the ongoing past-meets-present design wave, Nike took the upper of the Moon Shoe and matched it with React midsole of the Vapor Street Flyknit. For those not too familiar, the Moon Shoe debuted back in 1972 as a racing flat. The shoe featured Bill Bowerman’s iconic waffle soles, which would leave a unique imprint on dirt, resembling the lunar footprints.

We finally get our share of the Nike Moon Racer this November. While some markets are getting all three, the PH gets two of the three colorways today. The sneaker comes in black/blue as well as orange/yellow. The first sneaker comes in black with a speckled React sole as well as a blue accent on the midsole. The orange pair gives us that retro vibe with the yellow/cream midsoles to match its uppers. Both pairs feature a moon-printed insole and come with a special dust bag. The Nike Moon Racer QS drops today, November 3rd, and will be available across all Commonwealth locations.
