Posted on Jun 24, 2020 in Nike

Yes.

I know.

You took an L.

Again.

But like what I tell most of my friends (both onlnine and off), there’s a hundred more pairs coming our way. Just like the next couple of days, Both Nike and Jordan Brand’s got a couple of pairs you might want to try your luck with (or add to your string of Ls for 2020) as they release this week.

*UPDATE* Nike moved the release of the Killshot and LeBron 7 ‘MVP’ to Monday, June 29th.

THURSDAY, JUNE 25

Air Jordan III Retro ‘Blue Cement’

And Another One! While we all can’t get what DJ Khaled’s Friends & Family got back in 2018, this comes off as a welcome surprise to most. While it may draw comparisons to the famed DJ’s special pair, this is more of a follow up to the ‘Unite’ from All-Star Weekend. Featuring Varsity Royal tumbled leather to go with the elephant print overlays, the Air Jordan III definitely makes a statement just like a sore one. Black detailing can be found on the heel and midsole, while a blue Jumpman adorns the Cement Grey tongue. The shoe also comes with three sets of laces (blue, white and black).

While this is also slated for a local release, the Air Jordan III ‘Blue Cement’ drops tomorrow at nike.com/ph for Php 9,445.

MONDAY, JUNE 29

Nike LEBRON VI ‘MVP’

After winning his first set of back-to-back MVP plums in 2009, Nike Basketball released the LeBron VII ‘MVP’. From the pristine white leather to the grey fleece quilting and chenille Swoosh, the ‘MVP’ was a great way to celebrate that memorable season. After 11 years, Nike brings back the MVP shoe to banner in (possibly) Bron’s 5th in 17 years.

The Nike LeBron VII ‘MVP’ drops this Friday, June 26 for Php 9,895.

Nike Killshot OG SP ‘Gorge Green’

Some pairs were meant to be hype magnets, some grow over time to become cult classics. Just like the Cortez, Stan Smith or the Clyde, the Killshot is the epitome of cool. The tennis shoe falls under that ‘go-anywhere, do-everything’ type of sneaker, just like that trusty old pair of denims and ratty old raglan you refuse to give up.

The Killshot OG SP actually dropped in two other colorways on Nike.com with no fanfare (admit it PH, your trendiest influencer didn’t have ’em that’s why you don’t have them to) a couple of weeks back and this is the third installation. With its open mesh and visible foam tongue, the Gorge Green Swoosh and heel flow right in. If this is right up your alley, get ready.

The Nike Killshot OG SP ‘Gorge Green’ drop this Friday for a very appealing price of Php 4,495.
