Here’s how you can cop the Air Max 1/97 ‘Sean Wotherspoon’ this weekend

Posted on Mar 23, 2018 in Nike

One year in the making. One year we’ve been waiting. Winning last year’s Vote Forward contest, Sean Wotherspoon’s Air Max 1/97 will be available to the public this weekend. The shoe features corduroy uppers inspired by vintage 80s Nike hats as it sits upon the classic Air Max 1 midsole/outsole. The shoe uses velour lining (you might want to go a half size down on these) and comes with three extra laces.

The Nike Air Max 1/97 ‘Sean Wotherspoon’ VF retails for Php 8,095 and will be available at Commonwealth and Sole Academy. Here’s how you can purchase the shoe:

Commonwealth

Commonwealth is doing an in-store raffle to purchase the shoe. Any purchase at Commonwealth (Greenbelt or SM Aura) entitles you to one (1) raffle ticket to purchase the special release. Upon filling up the ticket, make sure to drop them off at the 3rd level Atrium of SM Aura (There are no drop boxes at Greenbelt). You can drop off your entries beginning 12nn Thursday (March 22) until 9pm today (March 23). A valid government ID will be required and strictly one (1) raffle entry per person.

The Raffle will be broadcasted live on Commonwealth PH’s Facebook account on Saturday, March 24 at 12nn. Size run is from 7-11 (half sizes included). Winners must present a valid ID upon purchase.

Sole Academy

Sole Academy is running the same program they did for the Atmos Animal 2.0 for the Sean Wotherspoon AM 1/97. 10 slots are open for Travelers of Air passport holders with 9 or more stamps to reserve their pair while a public raffle will happen from 12nn-2pm of Saturday, March 24 at the Think Tank.
