Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Before this Gino Iannucci/John McEnroe ad came out, we featured the shoe when it dropped last July. Retooling the Challenge Court (worn by Johnny Mac, the shoe’s first ambassador back in ’84) for the streets, Nike SB’s legacy of using classic silhouettes continue on. Close to the original, Nike just tweaked a couple of things, like the mesh/full-grain leather upper, sock liner, and the extended ankle collar. Nike SB also used the Variable Width Lacing System and the previously mentioned Lunarlon sockliner to provide a better fit and cushioning for today’s riders.
Get with the program. The Nike SB Challenge Court retails for 3,495 php and still available at weLegendary.
