For Akron: Nike re-releases the LeBron 3 ‘St.Vincent-St. Mary Home’ colorway

Go Irish!

A couple of days ago, I re-watched the first cinematic release LeBron James was in (no, it wasn’t Trainwreck), More Than a Game. The movie/biopic takes into account LeBron James before he became the biggest, most popular commodity in basketball. There we see LeBron wearing the Green and Gold of his alma mater, the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish. As a player for his hometown high school, James played with Sian Cotton, Dru Joyce III, Willie McGee and former PBA import Romeo Travis, where this bunch led Akron to 3 chips in 4 years.

Ever since LeBron signed with Nike, they’ve created special make ups of his signature shoe done in his school’s colors. Back in 2006, they released a home and away version of the Zoom LeBron 3. These were hard to come by (especially here in the PH) and were definitely a rare piece to have for any LeBron fan.

Yesterday, Titan released the the SVSM Home colorway, dressed in white premium leather with gold and green accents. The lion logo is seen on the tongue with the SVSM branding on the lace holders. To cap things off, a clover leaf is stitched on the heel with the SVSM Fighting Irish logo on the insole.

The Nike Zoom LeBron 3 ‘SVSM Home’ is now available at Titan (Fort) and Titan22.com. The shoe retails for Php 8,545. Two other LeBron pairs are dropping this weekend so keep it locked in for more info.
