What’s New: New Balance unveils the 1906R

What do you do when you’ve got the momentum? Kick it into high gear.

With all the releases from New Balance over the last few months, New Balance introduces us to the new 1906R – a reimagination of the 1906 tech running shoe that dropped a little over a decade ago (2009). With tech running becoming more and more fleshed into everyday style, the 1906R just fits right in to today’s modern senses.

To banner in the release, New Balance is releasing two colorways for the 1906R. The first colorway is done in the 1906’s original colorway (M1906RA), while the other colorway borrows the hues of the original 2002 (M1906RB). The M1906RA features a mix of breathable mesh and synthetic overlays for its upper, while the M1906RB uses nubuck, mesh, and synthetic panels. The shoe also has the N-lock lacing system, Sure Lace and TPU heel counter for fit and support. The 1906R’s sole unit is comprised of ABZORB tech and N-ergy cushioning.

The New Balance M1906RA and M1906RB will be available next Friday, August 12th on newbalance.com and in select Asia countries and August 19th in China. Keep it locked here for the PH release.
