Last December New Balance SEA released the first set of their PPF Collection using the 574. This past season they used another silhouette: the 620. The New Balance archive holds the 620 close to its heart as it is the first shoe by NB to use a mix of suede and mesh on their runners.
I picked up the ‘PAST’ version of the 620, which is an exact reissue of the vintage runner, which is made up of suede and mesh uppers as well as EVA foam midsoles. The shoe is given that vintage treatment from the tongue, midsole and outsole as well as the grey suede and mesh looks like how they came out back in the day. Ofcourse the Present and Future versions of the 620 use other methods (Sonic Welding, Revlite Tech, etc.) but look remotely close to the classic.
You can still pick the classic New Balance CM620 up from New Balance Concept Stores for 4,395 php.
