New Balance just released the FuelCell Echo

While we do feature Lifestyle and Basketball sneakers on the regular, we also dabble into performance runners, especially when we know they work. After

New Balance has released several FuelCell silhouettes this past year, but this past weekend they released the FuelCell Echo – a lightweight and fast sneaker that provides amazing propulsion with every stride. For those not too familiar with FuelCell, the new midsole foam helps deliver a propulsive feel, pretty much the same way React or Boost works for their respective brands. For the Echo, New Balance coupled it with a full-length rippled outsole for better traction for the roads and treadmills.

Diving deeper into the shoe, you’ll also notice the Echo’s upper fashioned with engineered knit, keeping the shoe lightweight (10oz to be exact) while keeping a structure to the shoe. An external TPU heel helps secure the heel for a better fit.

The New Balance FuelCell Echo is now available across all New Balance doors and Intersport (Vertis), with the shoe retailing for Php 5,495.
