New Balance Hoops adds a couple more colorways for the TWO WXY

Posted on Apr 17, 2021 in New Balance

A little over a month ago, New Balance unveiled their latest hoop shoe, the TWO WXY. The latest sneaker was built for the end-to-end speed, explosiveness and versatility of today’s positionless game, a game that echoes the brand’s stars – Dejounte Murray, Darius Bazley and Jamal Murray.

After releasing the Fiesta colorway for Dejounte, New Balance took inspiration from both Darius and Dejounte’s basketball journey. First up we have the ‘Old Soles’ colorway for Dejounte Murray, which brings back memories growing up in Seattle and getting a ‘rebirth’ as a teenager through basketball. Murray’s PE comes in a yellow upper with pink and purple accents found throughout the shoe. For Darius Bazley, his TWO WXY comes in a black with multicolor hits throughout. The shoe befits a BHM tone but definitely one of the better colorways in the TWO WXY’s early run. In terms of the tech underhood, the shoe uses FuelCell foam for bounce and responsiveness, while the upper makes use of the brand’s Kinetic Stitch construction for support and flexibility based on data.

The New Balance TWO WXY ‘Old Soles’ drop this Sunday, April 25th, at select New Balance stores and partner stockists. The TWO WXY retails for Php 6,495 and will be available at the following locations: New Balance (Glorietta, Trinoma, ATC, BHS, Powerplant, Marquee Mall and Ayala Center Cebu), NB LazMall, The Athlete’s Foot (ATC, Glorietta, Shangri-la, Powerplant, Bay Area, Cebu), Planet Sports (Trinoma, Greenhills, Cebu, Veranza, Abreeza) and Sports Central (SM Aura, SM Mall of Asia, SM Makati).

Aside from the TWO WXY, the New Balance 2002R is now available at select NB stores as well.
