Here’s a closer look at the Aries Arise x New Balance 991

After the recently released and highly coveted Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 990 v5, New Balance strikes the match once again, this time with London’s Aries. For those not too familiar with the fashion house, Aries prides itself with apparel and footwear inspired by 90s subcultures of skate and rave.

For their collaboration with New Balance, they take on the Made in England 991. Each colorway features pearlized leather, fluorescent mesh and bright yellow suede. The designs take inspiration from the time when sportswar became fashion and the outsider perspective of British style tribal streetwear. The mix of materials and luminous colorways make for an interesting release.

The Aries Arise x New Balance 991 Made in England is set to drop this weekend, with each pair retailing for Php 13,495. Commonwealth dropped them last night via CopDate but you might be in luck if some of the winners don’t claim their pairs.
