Engineered Garments and New Balance work up the 990v5 this season

Ever since New Balance released the 990 v5 earlier this year, we’ve been waiting for brands and co-creatives work up the silhouette for their respective collections. Continuing the story they started with their Vans Vault pack, New York’s Engineered Garments recently released a special rendition of the 990v5 with New Balance.

The three-piece pack features asymmetric designs throughout the shoe’s upper. The mismatch use of materials vary from the left to the right shoe, whether it’s the use of smooth leathers or crocodile embossed nubuck, or even the varying types of laces. The mismatch is quite evident with both the black and navy pairs, while the gray 990v5 also features croc and lizard patterns on its overlays.
