Last September, the NBA and Nike officially unveiled their new partnership with a player from each of the 30 teams dressed in their all-new Statement Edition jerseys. Veering away from your traditional Home and Away jerseys, the Statement Edition kit sets the tone for big games or rivalries, inspired by the team’s desire to make a bold statement every time they step on the court.

You’ll notice a lot of teams take on a black base for their Statement jersey– this conveys a sense of strength and power. What’s great about these jerseys (versus the more traditional Icon and Association editions) is that they really focus on the team and the team’s character. You’ll notice a lot of the secondary logos being used (Cleveland) or even with Milwaukee — using their new Buck logo.

For everyone’s favorite and current champs — the Golden State Warriors — the franchise pays homage to the culture and legacy of its hometown: Oakland. Instead of the City or Warriors, it shows The Town, with Oakland’s family Oaktree design, also found on street signs throughout Oakland’s city government. The Statement Edition jerseys were first worn on court during Thanksgiving weekend.

What’s great to know is that the Nike x NBA Statement Edition jerseys are now available in the PH. 12 jerseys are currently available – Golden State Warriors (KD, Steph, and Draymond), New Orleans Pelicans (Cousins and Davis), Houston Rockets (James Harden), San Antonio Spurs (Kawhi Leonard), Portland Trailblazers (Damian Lillard), Minnesota Timberwolves (Andrew Wiggins), New York Knicks (Kristaps Porzingis), Milwaukee Bucks (Giannis Antetokounmpo) and Cleveland Cavaliers (LeBron James). Each Statement Edition jersey is also NikeConnect-powered. Head on over to any NBA Store PH branch (Glorietta, Megamall, Trinoma, Cebu) to pick up the NBA Statement Edition jersey, each retailing for Php 3,595.
