Release Reminder: Air Jordan VI Retro ‘Flight Nostalgia’

While we were treated to the Air Jordan XIX Retro OG last weekend, Jordan Brand blends in the old with the new with their latest release. While we are anxiously waiting for the Infrared VIs next month, Jordan is buttering us up with these new ‘Flight Nostalgia’ VIs this weekend.

Although not an original colorway for the Air Jordan VI, the ‘Flint’ colorway brings in similar colors to the XIX as well as some accents of Concord found on the Jumpman, tag and heel embroideries. The Infrared hits on the pull tab and heel mesh well to the overall aesthetic of this release. What caught my attention here are the gray suede panels on the upper, something you wouldn’t expect from the 6 (although there were suede iterations before, this just jumps at you).

The Air Jordan VI Retro ‘Flight Nostalgia’ drops today, January 12, at Titan, the Athlete’s Foot and select Nike stores. The shoe retails for Php 9,445.
