Release Reminder: Air Jordan 1 Retro ‘Pine Green’ & ‘Court Purple’

Posted on Sep 19, 2018 in Jordan Brand

2018’s been a banner year for the Air Jordan 1. We’ve seen several iterations drop over the course of the year and JB’s not stopping any time soon. For a lot of older heads, the Air Jordan 1 represents the birth of Jordan Brand but also the beginnings of true sneaker fandom. After reintroducing a new means of color blocking with the Bred Toe, Jordan continues the story by doing a “Pine Green” and “Court Purple” colorway as a follow up.

For those not familiar, the “Bred Toe” was a different take on Jordan’s classic colorways. The color-blocking combines two OG releases – the toe and vamp of the Air Jordan 1 ‘Bred/Banned’ and the quarter and heel panel of the ‘Black Toe’. Up close, you’ll notice how great the quality is on these new Jordan 1s. In true OG fashion, Nike Air is found on tongue label and Nike detailing on the outsoles.

Scoring both pairs this weekend will require some logistics. Titan will be releasing the ‘Court Purple’ colorway while the ‘Pine Green’ colorway will be available at the Athlete’s Foot (Rockwell/Glorietta store only). Expect Titan to release information in the coming hours, but expect it to be similar to previous Jordan Brand releases. As for the Athlete’s Foot, they are requesting everyone to follow/like their FB and Instagram accounts, as these will be verified upon purchase. They have designated the time and location of where the lines will be made this weekend.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Court Purple/Pine Green’ retails for Php 8,095.
