PLAYOFF MAGIC: The Air Jordan 10 Retro ‘Orlando’ Returns

Posted on Dec 1, 2018 in Jordan Brand

‘I’m Back’.

His Airness finally made his way back to the NBA after scratching that baseball itch. This holiday season, it makes total sense for Jordan Brand to release the Air Jordan 11 ‘Concord’ 23 years after he debuted them during the 1995 NBA Playoffs. But even before MJ stepped on the court in the 11s, Nike athletes were actually playing in the 10s. Scottie Pippen, Hubert Davis, Mitch Richmond, and GP all wore them, but there was one other player that played in them against MJ himself: Nick Anderson.

Nick Anderson was one of the most prolific scorers in the League back then and he was one of the to carry on Mike’s legacy in the A. Orlando was on a tear that season and they eventually faced MJ and the Bulls during the Eastern Conference Semis. On Nick’s feet were these: the Air Jordan 10 ‘Orlando’. Part of the City Series, the Air Jordan 10 comes clean with the black/white combination. The respective city’s colors are found on the shoe’s sockliner and outsole. Nick’s PE may have had his number on the side, but the classic colorway was one of the best back in the day.

The Air Jordan 10 Retro ‘Orlando’ drops this weekend at Titan, Nike Forum, Capital, the Athlete’s Foot and other Nike stockists. The shoe retails for Php 9,445.
