HARE JORDAN: Air Jordan 6 ‘Hare’ drops this week – UPDATE

Posted on Jun 5, 2020 in Jordan Brand

If you’ve been hanging around the nike.com for quite a while, you should be well aware as to what’s available and what’s scheduled to release in the coming weeks. This Friday, Jordan Brands continue to release solid pairs as they will be releasing the Air Jordan 6 ‘Hare’.

Back in 1992, Nike released the Air Jordan 7 ‘Hare’ as part of their marketing campaign with Bugs Bunny. Taking the same color blocking used on the OG pair, Jordan Brand brings the White and Neutral Grey colors to the Air Jordan 6. You might confuse this to the ‘Alternate 91’ that dropped in 2017, but this truly takes on the Hare colors, complete with accents and colors on the tongue, heel, insole and outsole.

I appreciate the details JB added to this rendition of the Hare Jordan. The translucent tongue is the most noticeable change, with the tongue mimicking the tongue on the 7. The same jagged print can be found on the shoe’s lining and insole. The orange and green lace locks are definitely a great addition to this colorway, posing as a carrot to the hare-inspired colorway.

The updated translucent tongue mimics the tongue found on the Air Jordan 7 ‘Hare’. Extra points go to the orange-colored lace lock that looks like a ‘carrot’

The red neoprene throat adds more color to the white/grey pair, while the red semi-translucent rubber outsoles flare up the pair to complete the look.

The Air Jordan 6 ‘Hare’ is dropping this Friday, June 5, via nike.com/ph. The shoe will retail for Php 9,445.

*UPDATE* – The Air Jordan 6 ‘Hare’ release date is now June 12. Nike Park and Titan are set to release the shoe as well.
